I remember a man that truly cared about his students and was not unknown to them like many high school principals are today. He attended the DCT-VICA Halloween party, the club fundraiser where clubs had a dunking booth he took his turn, a dart board with photos of teachers/coaches, and a car that for .50 you could take three swings with a sledge hammer he was great. The year the seniors put the school up for sale there were about 40 For Sale signs in front of the school Woody announced over the intercom that he had had many calls about the sale of the school but we were just asking too much. He was a wonderful man that inspired many of us HVJ alum to follow in his footsteps. My prayers are with his family and friends.

- Pam Lowery Clark, Conyers, GA
